KOUNOTORI8 (also known as HTV8), a spacecraft used to resupply the International Space Station, carried RICOH THETA and launched from Tanegashima Space Center on September 25, 2019 using the H-IIB F8 Rocket (H-IIB F8). KOUNOTORI8 safely arrived at the International Space Station on September 28.

The images and video 1,2-1,2-2 were corrected using Ricoh-original image enhancement technology. This image enhancement technology performs a combination of spherical camera image resolution enhancement, noise reduction and aberration correction using deep learning technology.
We plan to update this web page with more images from space in the near future.

The International Space Station (ISS) is a manned spacecraft with experimental facilities used to observe and measure such things as celestial bodies and conduct experimental research. The station circles around the Earth at a speed of roughly 90 minutes per cycle to maintain an orbital speed of 27,600 km/h at an altitude of around 400 km above ground.
